Weekend with the gorillas

Ever get a spare long weekend and wonder what to do - well how about visiting the mountain gorillas in Rwanda?

With overnight flights to Nairobi connecting easily with onward services to Kigali in Rwanda, its possible to leave your desk on a Thursday evening and be in the Parc National des Volcans on a Friday afternoon.  Spend Saturday and Sunday with the gorillas, returning home overnight on Monday to be back first thing Tuesday morning.

It’s certainly something interesting to discuss with work colleagues at the beginning of the week.  If you’d prefer a longer trip, then Rwanda combines perfectly with safari in neighbouring Tanzania or Kenya.
