Victoria Falls Lunar Rainbow
Although the brightness of the rainbow produced by the moon is nowhere near as bright as those produced by the sun, it is nonetheless very special.
For three days around the full moon, during the months of high water level, namely April, May, June, July and sometimes August it’s possible to view a lunar rainbow at Victoria Falls.
For those interested in experiencing this, the relevant dates for full moons during the remainder of 2009 and 2010 are:
2009:7 July, 6 August
2010:28 April, 27 May, 26 June, 26 July, 24 August
