Olare Orok Wildlife Conservancy

Olare OrokOlare Orok wildlife conservancy is an area of community owned land adjoining the Masai Mara reserve. It is a community run trust which enables local people to benefit from safari goers visits to their game rich area. In return for access onto their land for game viewing, the local community receives conservancy fees which fund a number of programs such as road maintenance, education at primary and guide school level, women and youth groups, and the provision of a water pipeline to the school.
