Rhinos in Tanzania

Five black rhinos arrived in Tanzania this week from South Africa as part of a relocation program which will eventually bring 32 descendent of 7 Kenya rhinos back to the Serengeti where their numbers have fallen drastically. The Singita Reserve in the Serengeti’s Western Corridor area received the first five and will ensure they settle in using an enclosed area before they are allowed to roam entirely free. John and Francis visited the Singita Reserve a couple of years ago as part of a longer trip through northern Tanzania. Please call us if you want to know more about seeing rhinos or visiting this region.Rhino in Tanzania
