Kwara Camp

Kwara Camp has an excellent location in the 175,000 hectare Kwara private concession in the remote northern part of the Okavango Delta in Botswana. The concession has a 20 mile border with the Moremi Game Reserve, and the camp has access to land and water based activities with open grasslands, mopane woodlands and the classic Delta channels and lagoons.

Accommodation & Facilities
Kwara consists of nine large luxury tents, decorated in an authentic safari style and set on their own viewing decks. The tents all have fans over the beds and en-suite bathrooms with inside and outsideshowers and a bath, and a verandah overlooking the floodplain. The camp has a dining room, lounge and bar. There are two small pools with a bar and loungers at each end of the camp, to create a peaceful and private atmosphere for guests.

Wildlife & Activities
Kwara has excellent wildlife viewing, with lion, leopard, cheetah, wild dog, hyena, elephant, buffalo, giraffe, hippo and crocodile regularly seen, in addition to plains wildlife and hundreds of birds. Day andnight drives in open safari vehicles with expert guides and trackers allows guests to follow wildlife until the guests call it a day rather than rushing back for a meal. Boat or mokoro (dug out canoe) are included when water levels allow. Kwara also offers excellent bird watching, seasonal fishing and walking safaris. The camp prides itself on its guiding and being able to match clients’ wishes with a particular guide’s strengths, therefore making the most of a great wildlife area.
