Botswana Explorer
The Botswana Explorer is described as a pioneer safari, run by Conservation Corporation Africa. This safari lasts ten days and operates between Maun and Victoria Falls, visiting the Okavango Delta, Moremi Wildlife Reserve and Chobe National Parks.
Accommodation & Facilities
This is a serviced mobile camping safari, which means staff will erect the tents, and cook for the guests. The safari travels with a maximum of 7 participants. Guests will travel through the varied landscape of Chobe National park, Moremi Game Reserve and the Okavango Delta in specially customised 4x4 safari vehicles, accompanied by an expert guide throughout. Botswana Explorer itineraries make use of private exclusive camps will be used for eight nights, with one night spent at a lodge in Victoria Falls.
Wildlife & Activities
Chobe National Park is in the heart of elephant country and there you will have the opportunity to spend many hours watching the huge herds in and around the waters of the Chobe River. Northern Chobe has beautiful scenery and magnificent sunsets, with a large variety of bird and animal life. You will also visit Savuti reserve, where, depending on the time of year huge animal concentrations are attracted to the area, and which is a particularly good place to see lion and other predators throughout the year. You will also visit Moremi which is rated as Africa's most beautiful wildlife sanctuary, where you will spend your time on extensive gameviewing drives. In the Okavango Delta you will explore the crystal clear channels, islands and waterways by mokoro (dug-out canoe), and undertake game viewing walks on the islands.
