Chitabe Camp

Chitabe Camp is located on an island in the south-east of the Okavango Delta, bordering the Moremi Game Reserve. The area is made up of a variety of habitats which include waterways and marshlands, open grasslands and seasonally flooded plains. Elephant, buffalo, lion, leopard, cheetah and wild dog are among the major game species seen here as well as zebra, reedbuck, red lechwe and impala.
Accommodation & Facilities
Chitabe Camp has eight spacious meru-style tents with ensuite facilities, including an indoor and outdoor shower. The camp is raised off the ground and is linked by wooden walkways, which make the perfect viewing platform for the fantastic views across the floodplains.
Wildlife & Activities
There is a plunge pool at Chitabe. Activities include night and day game drives, nature walks and fantastic birdwatching. Guests can also experience a ‘sleep out’ under the stars in full comfort and safety.
