Meno a Kwena is the name given to a deep stretch of the Boteti River in Botswana, once inhabited by hippo and crocodiles in a garden of water lilies, which literally translated means 'Teeth of the Crocodile'. Meno A Kwena Tented Camp is on the Makgadikgadi Pans National Park western boundary.

Accommodation & Facilities
Accommodation at Meno a Kwena is in eight spacious meru walk-in tents. Each tent has a safari style bucket shower and flushable toilet; which are private but not en-suite as they are a few steps away from your tent. It is quite an experience standing under an open Kalahari sky filled with stars or alive with the traffic of riverine birds, depending on the time of day you choose to have your shower. Meals are prepared specially for the barbeque and 'tin box oven' cooked on the campfire, adding to the authentic safari experience.

Wildlife & Activities
Meno a Kwena has a lovely natural rock plunge pool which is located on the riverbank and is an excellent area for viewing wildlife visiting the waterhole below, bird watching or simply relaxing in a very peaceful atmosphere. There is also a magnificent hide, which is a great option for those who want a break from driving – in fact guests often see more from the riverside than from the vehicles.
