Zarafa Camp
Zarafa Camp overlooks the Zarafa Lagoon in the eastern Selinda Reserve in Botswana. This camp is located close to the Savute Lagoon and source of the channel, so guests can expect great views of hippos and crocodiles, not to mention the abundance of birds.
Accommodation & Facilities
Zarafa is a wonderful small exclusive camp with just four rooms, ensuring that each individual guest receives a sense of hospitality and privacy. The spacious en-suite, walk in tents are set on raised wooden platforms. Dining here is in a large tent (open sided if weather permits), and the bar is set in the open air around a tree. It enjoys fabulous panoramic views.
Wildlife & Activities
Game in the Selinda Reserve is good throughout the season. Birding is good year round and fantastic in the wet months (Dec-March) when many migratory species pass through. Game is viewed from Zarafa from open vehicles on both day and night drives or on foot and siesta time is often spent in the sunken hide at the waterhole's edge.
