Joy’s Camp is in Northern Kenya’s rugged Shaba Game Reserve approximately 200 miles to the north of Nairobi. The reserve is famous for the work of George and Joy Adamson and the camp is situated at Joy Adamson’s original campsite.

Accommodation & Facilities
Joy’s Camp consists of ten large Bedouin Somali style tents all with en suite facilities. Each tent has its own deck overlooking the camp’s own natural spring, which has become the area’s main watering hole.

Wildlife & Activities
The camp has a swimming pool where guests can relax. Activities include game drives (day and night), escorted bush walks, bush breakfasts, sundowners and cultural visits. Shaba National Reserve is enriched with extraordinary wildlife. Game drives are likely to incorporate varied wildlife including grevy zebra, the Somali ostrich, gerenuk, reticulated giraffe, lesser kudu, leopards, plenty of lion and herds of elephants.
