Kizingoni and Lamu Beach Houses

Seven private beachfront houses (Kazkazi, Pepo, Kizingoni, Kuni Jogoo, Wazi Dubu, Kusini and Jahazi) are located on a secluded, private stretch of beach at the southern tip of Lamu Island. They are set on the beach at the end of Shela Beach, famous for its 12km of wild untouched shoreline and ancient sand dunes, just a 30 minute boat ride away from Lamu and Shela.
Accommodation & Facilities
Each of the houses at Kizingoni Beach have their own staff, including personal chef, waiting staff, and room steward, together with their own private boat and captain. The houses sleep between eight and 12 guests and are individually designed and well equipped. The houses suit families and groups alike, and offer plenty of space for guests to enjoy their privacy. Each house has a swimming pool, roof top terraces for relaxing and dining, and several verandahs offering varied views.
Wildlife & Activities
Water-sports on offer at Kizingoni Beach include waterskiing and wakeboarding up the Kipungani Channel and Kayaking. Other activities include fishing, picnics on neighboring islands, snorkeling and swimming with dolphins, dhow trips and deep sea fishing. Visits to Shela Village, Kipungani Village and Lamu Town can all be arranged.
