
Tsarabanjina
Tsarabanjina is a tiny private island off the north west coast of Madagascar in the Nosy Be area. With lush forest surrounded by white sandy beaches it is best known as Joanna Lumley's castaway island in the BBC series of the same name.
Accommodation & Facilities
There are 25 rooms at Tsarabanjina made from thatch and woven reeds. Each has en suite facilities and a verandah with hammocks, which looks across the white sand to the blue sea. There is a relaxed dining room and bar.
Wildlife & Activities
Diving and snorkelling is very good in this area. Deep-sea fishing, sailing, boat trips and water skiing are also available whilst staying at Tsarabanjina.
