Chintheche Inn
Chintheche Inn is situated on the northern shores of Lake Malawi, Africa's third largest lake which stretches over 500 kilometres from north to south. Just south of Nkhata Bay, the Inn has a wonderful broad sandy beach and extensive grounds with many impressive indigenous trees.
Accommodation & Facilities
The Inn offers 10 en suite rooms, and each room overlooks a white sandy beach. There is also a swimming pool for those who prefer, with a 180 degree view of the lake. The Inn has an excellent reputation for fine cuisine and offers a full bar.
Wildlife & Activities
As well as swimming and interesting beach walks, snorkelling and boating opportunities are available from the Inn. Excellent mountain biking trails (bikes are for hire), trips to the Vizara rubber plantation and visits to the lively market town of Nkhata Bay are also good options. Other excursions can easily be arranged, including bird watching, diving and cultural safaris.
