Four Seasons
Four Seasons is the world’s leading operator of luxury hotels and resorts. Their new resort and spa is situated on the east coast of Mauritius. This resort offers exemplary service, and is ideal for both couples and families. The resort, which is situated about 45 minutes from the international airport, occupies 26 hectares of the 216 hectare Anahita World Class Sanctuary.
Accommodation & Facilities
This luxury five star resort has 90 spacious one bedroom villas which have all been stylishly designed and are sophisticated in their décor. The villas are well spread out providing secluded accommodation and golf buggies are on call to transport guests around the hotel. Each villa has a private plunge pool on the outdoor terrace and follows the characteristic Four Season standard by having all modern amenities such as an ipod docking station and flat screen television. The villas are all identical but vary in terms of location; some are in the heart of the well maintained gardens while others are located on a large private island (linked by a bridge to the main land) and have uninterrupted views of the ocean and have direct beach access. There are also residence villas which have two, three and more bedrooms that are equipped with a kitchen, large pool and a large living area that are ideal for families and groups of friends travelling together.
Wildlife & Activities
A variety of non-motorised water sports are on offer to guests on a complimentary basis including kayaking, Hobie cats, snorkelling trips, waterskiing as well as boat shuttles to the beaches at Ille aux Cerf. The resort is also home to fitness centre, two tennis courts, four restaurants, a spa, kids club and teen club. There is a nearby dive centre based at Anahita, the neighbouring resort with whom the Four Seasons is affiliated. There is also an eighteen hole golf course designed and built by Ernie Els, famed for being the longest in Mauritius, which is both wide enough for beginners but also technical enough to satisfy competent and confident golfers.
