The Residence
This graceful hotel sits on one of the best beaches on the east coast of Mauritius approximately an hour’s drive from the airport and the style is intended to be that of a colonial palace.
Accommodation & Facilities
Its stunning public areas are complemented by truly excellent service. The 163 stylish rooms and suites are large, with attractive bathrooms and dressing rooms and equipped with every thing you might need, including butler service. The hotel has three restaurants, an excellent spa and three tennis courts. The bar has entertainment after dinner in the evenings encouraging you to stay and enjoy a night-cap to the accompaniment of live jazz or blues. There is also a children’s club and a fleet of babysitters for younger children and evening care.
Wildlife & Activities
If guests tire of sitting on the beach or by the pools, a wide variety of water sports are available including windsurfing, sailing, kayaking, snorkelling trips and water skiing and there are a number of excellent golf courses close by.
