Marlin Lodge

Marlin Lodge, situated on Benguerra Island, forms part of Mozambique’s Bazaruto Archipelago, which was declared a National Marine Park in 1971. With three fresh water lakes, it is home to crocodile and a variety of birds. The Lodge stretches along the beautiful beach of Flamingo Bay and offers guests a unique unspoilt island experience.
Accommodation & Facilities
The seventeen elegant en-suite wooden chalets are a blend of elegance and African Island beauty. Each chalet offers an impressive view over the white beach and tidal sand spit. Each has a private patio, hammock and a walkway down to the water’s edge. There are two different room types available; eleven luxury chalets and three executive suites. The latter are slightly larger in size, have the same beautiful views and luxurious facilities but come with a bigger private patio and sunbathing deck. There is a large central communal area comprising a dining room, bar and living area, as well as a pool.
Wildlife & Activities
For those guests who want a little more activity than simply relaxing on the beach or around the pool, there are excellent diving and snorkelling opportunities on the nearby pristine two mile reef. Angling is available either from the beach or boat, and the glassy shallows are ideal for waterskiing, sailing and sunset dhow trips.
