Pambele
Pambele is a private beach home located on the Vilanculos wildlife sanctuary at the tip of the remote San Sebastian Peninsula. Just 14 kilometres from Vilanculos itself and easily accessible by boat, the house is surrounded by idyllic long white beaches, small islands and crystal clear water. Pambele has to be taken exclusively and is only available for 16 weeks of the year.
Pambele is brilliantly designed and a lot of thought has been put into the smallest of details. There are four villas, two with private plunge pools and some large enough to sleep families of four. The villas are dotted along the beach, each one completely private with an open terrace and sea views. Pambele could sleep ten adults and five children, but is comfortable with just six friends. The central area has a bar made from a converted dhow and a huge infinity pool with an area for small children. A stunning teak decking stretches around the pool with several areas for simply relaxing. You can choose to dine in the shade of the lodge or on the decking under the stars or out on the beach.
There is a wide range of activities on offer from Pambele. Guided drives and walks to see both terrestrial and estuarine wildlife; diving and snorkelling over beautiful coral and rock reefs; big game and salt water fly fishing as well as the more relaxed approach of island picnics, catamaran cruising or just star gazing.
