Camp Kipwe
Camp Kipwe is nestled amongst dramatic granite rock ‘kopjes’ and looking out onto superb scenery within the Twyfelfontain area of Damaraland.
Accommodation & Facilities
There are nine spacious, circular rooms, all of which are ensuite and have a large outdoor deck from which to admire the views. The surrounding boulders, red basalt rocks and mopane branches help to give the camp a natural organic feel. The main area is raised and comprises of four thatched domes; dining room, lounge and bar and a small curio shop. There is also a small swimming pool build into the rocks and a viewpoint offering 360 degree views.
Wildlife & Activities
Activities at the Kipwe include nature drives with the possibility of seeing the desert-adapted elephants in the dry season, Twyfelfontein excursions to the rock engravings and guided walks around the camp.
