Damaraland Camp
Damaraland Camp is located on the north bank of the Huab River Valley, some 90 kilometres inland from Torra Bay on Namibia's Skeleton Coast. The Camp is situated in a true wilderness, where soaring mountains and rolling plains give way to shifting dunes.
Accommodation & Facilities
The accommodation comprises ten large comfortable meru-style walk-in tents each with en suite facilities and a veranda, with impressive views across the valley. The main living area is under thatch and combines the dining room, lounge and bar. An open camp fire is enjoyed during calm evenings, and dinner at Damaraland Camp is frequently enjoyed outside. There is also a small pool.
Wildlife & Activities
Nature drives and walks into the Huab River system provide the opportunity to see some of the species that have come to terms with life in a desert environment, including the rare desert elephant, black rhinos, oryx, kudu, and springbok.
