
Kulala Lodge
Kulala Lodge overlooks a dry riverbed on the western side of the Kulala Reserve in Namibia. From its prime location there are magnificent views of the famous red dunes of Sossusvlei to the west and the rugged Namib Mountains to the north and east.
Accommodation & Facilities
The camp comprises 17 thatch and canvas tents on elevated decks. Each has ensuite facilities. An external staircase leads to a flat rooftop that is ideal for stargazing or as somewhere to sleep under the stars. The main area has a lounge, dining room, bar and curio shop. There is also a swimming pool.
Wildlife & Activities
Activities at Kulala Lodge are varied and include full day game drives with an early morning start to the spectacular Sossusvlei dunes, nature drives with incredible views, to see desert game and smaller desert fauna and flora. Walks and day trips into the Namib-Naukluft Mountains are also available. Scenic flights and ballooning can be arranged at an extra cost.
