Jaci's Safari Camp and Jaci's Tree Lodge in South Africa are situated close to the Botswana border, in the 75,000 hectare, malaria free, Madikwe Game Reserve. The reserve has fantastic fauna and flora, and is also home to 27 species of animals and over 340 species of birds. These include the 'Big Five' of lion, leopard, elephant, rhino and buffalo as well as cheetah and the rare wild dog.

Accommodation & Facilities
Jaci’s Safari Lodge is situated at an ideal spot overlooking an established and well used water hole under a grove of Tamboetie trees, on the edge of the Marico River. It has just eight beautifully furnished rooms designed in the style of tents with rollable canvas sides, each with an en-suite bathroom. There is a main dining and bar area as well as a pool. The Nare Suite (for up to six people) and the Safari Suite (for a maximum of eight) are both part of the Safari Camp. Both Nare Suite and the Safari Suite have their own small pools and are taken on an exclusive basis. At Nare Suite you get your own vehicle and driver as well as the option to take meals at the suite or at the main camp.

Wildlife & Activities
The Tree Lodge is five minutes walk away and has eight luxuriously appointed rooms in the canopy of the grove of trees, linked by aerial walkways. The bar, dining and boma areas have been built around existing trees and there is a pool. The Safari Lodge welcomes families where as Tree Lodge lends itself more to couples and families with older children.

Game drives, and walking safaris in the early morning and evening are the highlight of a stay at Jaci's. During the middle of the day guests can relax by the pools at either camp or sit in the hide and watch the game and birds as they come to drink. A separate shorter ‘jungle’ drive then goes out later in the day for very small children which their parents can join if they wish.
