Kurland Riding
Kurland is set where the Outeniqua Mountains sweep down to the waters of the Indian Ocean along South Africa’s Garden Route, close to Plettenberg Bay. A small luxury country hotel with just 12 rooms, set on a vast 700 hectare estate of great natural beauty.
There is a small amount of riding on offer here. The horses are thoroughbred with a few Shetland ponies, and range in size from 6hh to 16 hh. Polo is very big here and people from all over the world come to both compete and watch this fast and exciting game.
