Savanna Lodge
Savanna Lodge is a private game lodge, located in the Sabi Sand Game Reserve which borders the Kruger National Park in South Africa. The surrounding area is mainly flat open savanna (hence the name), which is renowned for its fantastic cheetah sightings.
Accommodation & Facilities
The nine suites at Savanna Lodge combine the romance of a tented roof with the sophistication of a permanent structure. The end result is both elegant and luxurious. There is also a cozy lounge and dining area, a library and a communal swimming pool.
Wildlife & Activities
Game viewing in this area is exceptional. There is no boundary between the private areas and the Kruger National Park, and game, including the Big 5 (lion, leopard, buffalo, elephant and rhino) is free to move in and out of the area. Game viewing with knowledgeable rangers takes place in both vehicles and on foot, and time is taken to enjoy the sights and sounds with the vehicle stopped and the engine off.
