Set on the banks of the Grumeti River from which it takes its name, Grumeti River Camp is in the Western Corridor of the Serengeti National Park.

 

The camp has ten huge tents most of which are set back from the river whilst the dining and lounge area look directly over it and its hippo pools. The tents have en suite facilities and a verandah with day bed. The main dining area is furnished with vibrantly coloured fabrics as are the loungers around the plunge pool and deck.

 

There is excellent resident game to be enjoyed during drives from Grumeti River Camp and the wildebeest migration also moves through on its way from the calving areas to Kenya’s Masai Mara.
