Kiba Point
Kiba Point is in Tanzania’s Selous Game Reserve, which is the largest reserve in Africa and the second largest protected area in the world. The reserve itself has a very small number of camps and these are set miles apart.
Accommodation & Facilities
Kiba Point is a truly outstanding sister camp to Sand River Selous, and situated on an outcrop of rock has stunning views over the Rufiji River itself. The camp is exclusive, taken on a private basis only and has four stone and thatch rooms which are large with en suite facilities and plunge pool. There is a large communal area with a dining room, bar and plunge pool.
Wildlife & Activities
Game viewing in the area around camp is excellent and guests can choose from walking safaris, boat trips or game drives in an open vehicle. There is also the opportunity to book a fly camping walking trip in advance. As well as large numbers of predators and prey, the opportunity to see packs of wild dog is a particular highlight of this area.
