Kirurumu Tented Lodge, a joint venture with the local community, is set on the edge of the western escarpment of the Great Rift Valley, with superb views over the valley, plains and Lake Manyara way below. The lodge is just a twenty minute drive from the entrance to Lake Manyara National Park.

Accommodation & Facilities
There are 20 large safari tents and two cottages set slightly away from the main camp. The tents are on wooden bases and have covered balconies. All have proper beds, en suite bathrooms and simple furniture. There is a dining room, and a bar with a sundeck offering spectacular views of the valley.

Wildlife & Activities
Kirurumu offers activities that include botanical and medicinal walks with local Masai guides, mountain biking, and hiking. It is also a good base for visits to Lake Manyara national Park and the Ngorongoro Crater. Another activity which can be arranged in the area by special request is fly-camping in the forest.
