Lukula Selous
Lukula Selous is set in deep shade, situated on the banks of the Luwegu River, deep in a remote southern section of the Selous Game Reserve. Offering a diverse habitat, ranging from open flood plains to open savanna, rolling hills to steep ridges, the area is rich in wildlife and spectacular with nature.
Accommodation & Facilities
The four authentic luxury tents are well spaced out along white sandy paths, close to the river and white sand beach. Each tent is furnished using recycled hard woods and soft furnishings from Zanzibar and the East, and each has full en-suite facilities with an open air bathroom. There is a tented dining, lounge and library area and a bazara down at the river where you can sit round the inviting camp fire in the evening, and gaze into the night sky.
Wildlife & Activities
At Lukula Selous the focus is on wildlife and exploring and connecting with the environment, by 4x4 vehicles, on foot or by canoe. You can also experience fly-camping, sleeping out under the stars in other areas of the reserve.
