Olakira Camp
Olakira Camp is a luxury mobile tented camp that from December to March is located in the Ndutu area. On these Serengeti plains are the endless grasslands where lion and cheetah find perfect hunting grounds. The camp moves up to northern Serengeti to the Bolongonja the central Serengeti from June to early December, where the concentration of animals is denser at this time.
Accommodation & Facilities
Olakira Camp is an intimate camp comprising of eight guest tents and two large mess/dining tents. The guest tents are spacious and comfortable with large king-size or twin beds and convenient en suite bathrooms with flush toilets. Each tent has its own private veranda with an amazing view overlooking the Serengeti. Fantastic meals are served in the dining tent or in a private location: your own veranda or under the Serengeti stars.
Wildlife & Activities
The southern and central Serengeti areas are renowned for fabulous wildlife viewing. Drives in these areas, short trips or full day explorations give you close encounters with astonishing numbers of animals – and if lucky, guests can even witness the members of the vast wildebeest herd give birth almost simultaneously.
In the northern Serengeti, near Bolongonja where the camp moves during the drier months, the resident predators await the long lines of weary animals migrating north to the waters and grasses of the Mara River region.
