Singita Grumeti is set in the vast, private Grumeti Game Reserve, which borders the Serengeti National Park in Tanzania. It has a mild, temperate climate, quintessential savannah scenery, and just three lodges in an area that is almost the size of the Masai Mara. Here you will find 16 horses ranging in size from 14.2 hh and 16.3 hh. These are mainly thoroughbreds; though there are also a few warmbloods and mixed breeds. They are of good quality and riders need to be strong novices - able to rise to the trot and control the horses at all paces. Guests should expect to spend between two and eight hours in the saddle, though time will be flexible to suit fitness and riding ability.

In addition to riding, other activities include game drives and walks, archery, tennis, hot-air ballooning, billiards and mountain biking. There is also a fully equipped spa and gym, and a jogging track.
