Ndali Lodge is perched on the edge of an ancient volcano now filled with water to become Lake Nyinambuga. It is set at the centre of 1,000 acres of lush private farmland in the Bunyaruguru crater lake region of western Uganda. It is 45 minutes from Kibale Forest National Park and an hour from the park entrance to the Rwenzoris.

Accommodation & Facilities
There are eight large thatched cottages with en suite facilities. Each has a private verandah which, since they face west, is perfect for watching the sun setting behind the dramatic Rwenzori Mountains. There is a main thatched lodge with spacious sitting room and dining room which both open out onto Lake Nyinambuga.

Wildlife & Activities
Wildlife viewing is possible in Kibale Forest National Park, home of the largest concentration of chimpanzees in Africa, as well as a bewildering variety of other primates, birds and butterflies. Also close by is the Bigodi wetland sanctuary, a community-based conservation project. The crater lake is home to five different species of kingfisher, but is also somewhere to swim or sunbathe. There are also walks around the farm alongside local guides to the Mahoma waterfall or past alcohol brewing in oil drums, through banana plantations, coffee terraces, and plots of cassava, groundnuts, sorghum and millet.
