Bilimungwe

Bilimungwe, one of the Bushcamp Company’s seasonal bushcamps, is in a remote area in the South Luangwa National Park. Set beneath a huge mahogany tree, the camp overlooks three waterholes which are favoured by local warthogs, elephants and other game.
Accommodation & Facilities
The camp comprises four raised timber, reed and thatch chalets. The dark wood of the surrounding trees is echoed in the wooden furniture and rich colour scheme which creates warm and cosy rooms that keep off the chill of an African night. Each room has a private deck, an en-suite bathroom and twin beds. Bilimungwe sleeps up to eight guests and is open from June to November.
Wildlife & Activities
Manda Chisanga is an award winning guide who is usually based at Bilimungwe. While here you are able to take advantage of his outstanding knowledge and head out with him on a combination of walking safaris, day and night game drives, and sun downers on the river’s edge. In between outings, find a chair and enjoy the wildlife magnet that is Bilimungwe’s permanent waterhole.
