Busanga Bush Camp
Busanga Bush Camp in Zambia is in Kafue, Africa's second largest national park. The park protects a number of habitats, through which flow a series of unique rivers.
Accommodation & Facilities
Busanga Bush Camp is nestled on a figtree island in the heart of the floodplains, in the north-west of the park. Accommodation is in four thatched tents with open roofed en-suite shower and flush toilet. There is a large dining tent, bar and lounge area in this camp which has been dubbed "the remote rustic camp which has everything."
Wildlife & Activities
From the camp guests can take day and night game drives in open 4x4 vehicles. Kafue National Park is home to over 55 mammal species including many antelope and cat species. Regular sightings include lechwe, puku, lion and cheetah, and pangolin and wild dog are occasionally seen. There is also excellent birding in the area with 491 species, including endemics such as Chaplin’s Barbet. Hot air ballooning is also possible and is a spectacular way to the see the surrounding landscapes from a very different perspective.
