
Thorntree River Lodge
Thorntree River Lodge is situated on the banks of the Zambezi River, within the renowned Mosi-Oa-Tunya National Park and just 15 kilometres upstream from the spectacular Victoria Falls.
Accommodation & Facilities
The lodge accommodates a maximum of 18 guests in seven twin bedded stone and thatch chalets, one double chalet and one executive suite. Each chalet has its own en-suite facilities and a verandah with a private view of the river. There is a central lounge / dining area where meals are served around the communal dining room table. There also an open sundeck overlooking the Zambezi River, a swimming pool and a small spa.
Wildlife & Activities
Thorntree River Lodge's riverside location and its unique position with the National Park allows for a wide choice of activities, including elephant back rides, sunset cruises, game-drives in Mosi-Oa-Tunya National Park, cultural and museum visits, fishing and of course visits to the Falls themselves. Helicopter flights, bungee jumps and white water rafting are just a few examples which can be arranged locally at an additional charge.
