Kinasi Mafia Island
Kinasi Lodge is situated on the south-east coast of Mafia Island, south of Zanzibar. The Island is a favourite destination for divers. The rooms are landscaped into an old coconut and cashew plantation, which overlooks Chole Bay.
Accommodation & Facilities
Each of the very comfortable large cottages has an en-suite bathroom. Fans inside the walk-in mosquito nets that hang over the beds keep the rooms pleasantly cool. Each has a covered verandah, furnished with a hammock, chairs and table, and offers beautiful views over the bay.
Wildlife & Activities
Guests can choose from various activities during their stay including picnic excursions by boat or road, visits to historical sites and local towns and villages. Water sports are also available and the area is renowned for its excellent diving. There is excellent bird watching and nature walks can also be arranged. Alternatively guests can just relax by the pool, on the beach or in the spa.
