Mchanga Beach Lodge
Mchanga Beach Lodge is a small family owned and run lodge on the north eastern side of Zanzibar. The lodge sits on a beautiful sandy beach, allowing excellent swimming in the warm turquoise sea water and views out to Mnemba Island. The beach is lined with palms and other mature shady trees.
Accommodation & Facilities
Mchanga Beach Lodge has just eight cottages, six Sea Front rooms, and two larger Garden Suites. The rooms all feature large and beautifully crafted Zanzibari four poster beds, fine quality locally made furniture and shuttered door and windows. Each room has an en-suite bathroom and is air-conditioned.
Wildlife & Activities
The lodge offers guests superb freshly prepared meals which may be taken in the open air or in the shady restaurant. There is a large swimming pool, a boules court, a spacious and cosy bar, and plenty of beach beds for relaxing in the shade of a palm. There is also spa offering massages and beauty treatments. The lodge can arrange many different activities including diving and water-sports, tours of the island and visits to Stone Town and Jozani Forest.
