Little Makalolo is situated in the eastern part of Hwange, Zimbabwe’s premier National Park.  The camp is incredibly secluded and one of only a few to be located within the actual boundaries of Hwange.  Overlooking a vibrant waterhole, this intimate private camp allows guests to view vast amounts of wildlife year round.

Accommodation & Facilities
Accommodation at Little Makololo is in six luxury tented rooms with en-suite facilities, with both indoor and outdoor showers. The dining room, lounge and bar areas are all under canvas. There is also an open fire area and plunge pool, which is a great place to relax after a day spent game viewing. 

Wildlife & Activities
Activities offered at Little Makalolo predominantly revolve around game drives and guided walks within the local concession.  Makalolo is best known for large herds of buffalo and elephant as well as lion, leopard and cheetah.  The large numbers of waterholes in the area are particularly busy during the winter months when animals have less opportunity to quench their thirst so are forced to drink together in close proximity.
