Boraha Village

Boraha Village is a small owner run guesthouse on the south east coast of žle Sainte Marie, an island off the east coast of Madagascar. It is set on a small ledge just a few metres above the sea, which provides wonderful views out over the azure blue Indian Ocean.

Accommodation & Facilities
The eight bungalows and two family rooms at Boraha Village are set amid the lush green gardens. The rooms all have spacious en-suite bathrooms with flush loos and hot and cold running showers. There is a lovely restaurant and lounge area which leads down to a jetty. The beach here is tidal, and at high tide guests can use the long jetty where there are sun loungers and steps down into the sea.

Wildlife & Activities
Activities on offer at Boraha Village include pirogue trips through the mangroves into the town centre, island walks, scuba diving, kite surfing and snorkelling.  There are bicycles for exploring and motorbike and quad-bikes are also available to rent. Between July and September there is excellent whale watching as humpback whales congregate in these waters to calve and mate.
