Outstandingly beautiful and ecologically diverse, northern Tanzania offers some of the best game viewing in East Africa. Home to the spectacular Ngorongoro Crater which is teeming with wildlife, the Serengeti which hosts the great wildebeest migration, Olduvai Gorge the cradle of mankind, and Lake Manyara National Park with its huge elephant population, the area is full of must-see sights.

Both Victoria and James have made fact finding trips here in the last six months; a return trip for Victoria and a first for James. What shone through from both on their return was that northern Tanzania has it all: truly great wildlife, stunning scenery, tremendous variety of activities, an enormous range of accommodation, and the opportunity to get well off the beaten track.
