Ol Malo Lodge’s charitable trust builds nursery school

 

Ol Malo Lodge's charitable trust, nursery school Ol Malo Lodge’s charitable trust has built a very special nursery school to educate up to 100 children. Not only does it blend with its environment, but the material used – wood with thatched roofs – allow it to move when the village moves.

To suit local Samburu people’s nomadic lifestyles, the whole school can be taken down and packed into saddlebags on donkeys and camels, before being rebuilt within the new manyatta (homestead). .
