Constantia Stables

Constantia Stables is a well run, pretty guest house just 20 minutes from the centre of Cape Town in South Africa. The Stables is owned by Lola Bartlett, who is often on hand to chat to guests, and offers a wealth of local information.

Accommodation & Facilities
As the name suggests the bedrooms and main area are in a converted stable block, with a few cottages within the established garden. A sumptuous breakfast is served in the dining room in the main house and guests are encouraged to use the library, lounge and bar area. Outside a shaded verandah overlooks a small heated pool and garden.

Activities
Hiking in the mountains or vineyards and day trips to the Cape Point Nature Reserve are all favourite pass-times. Cape Town is 20 minutes away by car and Stellenbosch and the rest of the wine lands can be reached in 50 minutes.
