Elephant House & Stable Cottages

Elephant House and Stable Cottages, close to the main entrance to the Addo Elephant National Park, are set in the fertile sun-drenched Sundays River Valley.

Accommodation & Facilities
The eight en-suite bedrooms, including one family suite, at Elephant House are arranged around and off the series of courtyards that make up the property. Each bedroom has air-conditioning, telephone and safe. The wide verandas, complete with comfortable sofas, provide beautiful shaded areas to relax. Other lodge facilities include a swimming pool and dining room where dinner is served.

The six cape country style Stable Cottages are set in four hectares of lawns with a swimming pool, children’s play area, wine bar and farm caf’ on site, just across the track from Elephant House. Each cottage has an en-suite bathroom, verandah overlooking the lawns, air conditioning and heating. Two of the cottages are suitable for families with an interconnecting bedroom for two children. Breakfast for guests here and Elephant House is served in the restaurant.

Wildlife & Activities
Game viewing activities in Addo Elephant Park are offered at an additional cost from both Elephant House and Stable Cottages. Other activities which can be booked and paid for locally include cultural, historical and agricultural tours of the valley, canoeing on the river, horse riding and helicopter trips.
