Jembisa

Jembisa is a beautiful bush home situated within its own game reserve in the heart of the beautiful malaria free Waterberg Plateau, three hours north of Johannesburg.

Accommodation & Facilities

Built originally as a family home, Jembisa has a wonderful atmosphere of relaxation and comfort. The lodge is built from local stone and thatch in harmony with its surroundings. There are five luxury en-suite bedrooms, three with private balconies plus a children’s bunkroom. A swimming pool and tennis court are situated in the lovely gardens.

Wildlife & Activities

Activities on the Jembisa reserve include day and night game drives, mountain biking, fishing, bush and river walks, and exploring ancient bushman sites and paintings. Guests can also spend a night fly-camping under canvas. There are a number of other activities close by including horse riding, local culture and history, and helicopter flights.
