Meet the Team

James Eacott

James has been lucky enough to travel from an early age, predominantly in Europe and North America. A gap year before university took him to Borneo to work with orphaned orang-utans, and then to Kenya and Tanzania where he climbed Mount Kilimanjaro and where his love for Africa was born.

A degree in Geography from the University of Exeter furthered his interest in different environments, the natural world and diverse cultures.

He is Aardvark's most recent visitor to northern Tanzania and has also visited Zambia and Botswana. Future plans include fact finding trips to Uganda and Rwanda.

When not working in the Tidworth office, he likes to enter ultra-marathons in far flung parts of the world, the Amazon jungle and Atacama desert being recent examples to keep himself busy. Apart from travel, James enjoys snowboarding, adventure racing and anything on TV with David Attenborough.
