Meet the Team

Jo Gordon

Joanna Gordon joined the Scottish office alongside Alice and Gale in September 2006, straight from two ski seasons where she thoroughly enjoyed pursuing two of her major passions; skiing and cooking. She has more recently managed to take her culinary skills out to Uganda and Rwanda where she spent time working in three of the lodges out there.

She travelled extensively through both countries and fell in love with the diverse scenery and prolific birdlife. She was even fortunate enough to go gorilla trekking in three different locations (twice in Uganda and once in Rwanda), so can give her own first-hand advice.

As well as these countries she is well travelled in Zambia, Zanzibar, Kenya, Southern Tanzania and Botswana. Next stop for Jo is Madagascar.

Joanna has ridden for as long as she can remember and will be riding through-out Africa on many of the riding safaris we offer.
