Full-time permanent position.

Location: Tidworth Office, Hampshire
Reports to: Alice Gully/Richard Smith.

Job Outline
– A senior sales consultant role is to effectively drive enquiries and sales in a growing business and assist with the day to day operations of a small, busy office.

Requirements for the role
– Sales experience in African travel products
– Proven track record in delivering new business, enquiries and sales.
– Team player with experience of working in a busy sales team.
– Professional outlook, able to communicate with high end clients
– Adaptable, able to use initiative and think quickly “on your feet”
– Good planning and organisational skills
– Must be able to travel to Africa, typically twice a year, for one to three weeks at a time
– Computer literate – ideally in word, excel and the internet
– Good written and verbal communication
– Good numerical skills
– Able to prioritise busy workloads, to delegate and work to deadlines
– Excellent interpersonal skills
– Attention to detail
– Able to manage confidential information
– Team player and be good at motivating others
– Social media marketing experience would be a benefit

Responsibilities
– Deliver against individual sales targets and objectives
– Support the marketing function to deliver new business through marketing activities
– Proactive in seeking out and acting on new marketing opportunities
– Manage and prioritise workload
– Overseeing all sales documentation and processes, ensuring quality and accuracy, recommending and implementing improvements where necessary
– Monitor performance against objectives and accountabilities
– Identify training needs and implement required training
– Prioritising and allocating work and enquiries in conjunction with the other offices
– Liaising with the finance department on enquiry, bookings and other sales function activities
– Overseeing all sales documentation and processes, ensuring quality and accuracy, recommending and implementing improvements where necessary
