Andersson’s at Ongava

Andersson’s at Ongava has a peaceful location overlooking a waterhole in the Ongava Private Game Reserve, which borders Etosha National Park. Ongava extends to 30,000 hectares, while Etosha is bigger than Wales and is Namibia’s premier wildlife destination.

Accommodation & Facilities
Andersson’s at Ongava is an environmentally sensitive and sustainably built lodge comprising eight suites, including one for a family with two en-suite bedrooms that are connected by a short walkway.  Each room features a private deck, air-conditioning and indoor and outdoor shower.   The main area of the lodge offers a spacious lounge with views over the waterhole, library, swimming pool and water level photographic hide. The Ongava Research Centre is located on the premises, and guests can visit it at any time during their stay.

Wildlife & Activities
Ongava has excellent wildlife including black and white rhino, lion, leopard, spotted and brown hyena, giraffe, wildebeest, zebra, elephant, red hartebeest, black impala, kudu, eland, and springbok.  The activities on offer at Andersson’s at Ongava include day and night wildlife drives on Ongava, daytime drives in Etosha, bird watching, nature walks and visits to the Ongava Research Centre.  Guests can also make use of the hide at any time of day.
