Bale Mountain Lodge

Bale Mountain Lodge is a wilderness lodge in the Bale Mountains National Park of south central Ethiopia. Situated at 2,380m, within a stunning cloud forest, the lodge is perfectly placed for guests to experience a pristine wilderness as well as offering access to the Rift Valley and wider local attractions.

Accommodation & Facilities
There are just eight spacious rooms, decorated with locally sourced furnishings to reflect the Ethiopian style.  Each has a wood burning stove providing a warmth and atmosphere.  The thatched dining room has a sweep of windows offering amazing views over the natural clearing and mountain range beyond.

Wildlife & Activities
The national park is home to many endemic species including the bale monkey and Ethiopian wolf.   Guests staying at the lodge can enjoy walks through the forest, a trip to the Sanetti Plateau and excellent bird watching.  There are a number of day trips to explore sites further afield which can also be arranged.
