Chelinda Lodge

Chelinda Lodge is set against a backdrop of woodland in the Nyika National Park in northern Malawi. The lodge has great views across the rolling grasslands of the plateau, the majority of which lies between 2,100 and 2,200 metres above sea level.

Accommodation & Facilities
Chelinda Lodge comprises six two storey log cabins, one of which is ideal for a family.  The ground floor has an open plan bedroom and lounge with an en-suite bathroom, two queen-sized beds, relaxing armchairs and a large verandah. The upstairs part is a mezzanine, providing extra living space, and can also take extra beds for younger children.  The nights can be cold at this altitude so the cabins all have large fireplaces and a good supply of firewood The lodge has a large and cosy main building, with a dining room, lounge, library and bar. There is a large central fireplace to ensure the lodge is warm and inviting at all times.

The wildlife you might see here includes roan antelope, leopard, hyena, eland, southern reedbuck, zebra, jackal, occasionally elephant, and up to 400 species of birds.
