Chitabe Lediba

Chitabe Lediba Camp sits on an island in a private concession, close to the Moremi Game Reserve in the south-east of Botswana’s Okavango Delta. There are a variety of habitats in the area including waterways, marshlands, open grassy areas and plains which are seasonally flooded.

Accommodation & Facilities

Chitabe Lediba Camp has just five tents and is ideal for small groups or families with two family units that have adjoining bedrooms. All of the spacious Meru-style tents are built on raised decks with en-suite bathrooms that have outdoor showers with panoramic views of the Okavango Delta. Chitabe Lediba Camp has a dining area, lounge and pool which all have a glorious view over the small lediba (remnant lagoon that has become a waterhole) after which the camp is named.

Wildlife & Activities

Chitabe Lediba Camp offers night and day game drives, guided bush walks which must be booked in advance, and fantastic bird watching. There is good wildlife here including elephant, buffalo, leopard, lion, cheetah and wild dog, along with zebra and antelopes such as reedbuck, red lechwe and impala.
