Delaire Graff Estate

Delaire Graff Estate is a beautifully designed, luxurious property on the outskirts of Stellenbosch, about 45 minutes’ drive from Cape Town. The lodge is set high on a ridge in its own vineyard and has wide sweeping views of the surrounding area in this spectacular part of the Cape.

Accommodation & Facilities

Delaire Graff has 14 beautifully and stylishly decorated lodges with one bedroom, a private sitting room, butler’s kitchen, luxurious en suite bathroom, private terrace and plunge pool. Two Presidential Lodges each have two en-suite bedrooms, a dining area, and a 35 square metre swimming pool. Decorated with original works of art from the owner’s collection, the Owner’s Villa has four bedrooms, living rooms and studies, a fully equipped kitchen and a big private pool, making it ideal for larger families or a group of friends travelling together. Each of the lodges offer wonderful views over the gardens and surrounding vineyards, and of the Simonsberg Mountains. The property has two restaurants, a wine tasting room and spa with 22m long swimming pool. The wonderfully mature landscaped gardens were designed by one of South Africa’s most celebrated horticulturists, Keith Kirsten. Sculptures by Dylan Lewis amongst other artists can be seen throughout the estate and lodge.

Wildlife & Activities

During a stay at Delaire Graff Lodge & Spa guests can take walks on the property, browse the on-site boutiques and galleries, enjoy a wine tasting on the property and at one or more of the surrounding vineyards, and explore all that the area around has to offer, such as the galleries, shops and cafes in nearby Stellenbosch. Delaire Graf is also a good base from which to visit Cape Town, the Cape Peninsula, and the Walker Bay region which is famous for seasonal whale watching.
